Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) Community Maternity Unit Contact details

We don't seem to be contacted by anyone about the RAH - possibly because many people aren't aware that the RAH now comes under the umbrella of NHS Greater Glasgow. However, the work that is being done by the midwives in the Community Maternity Unit is marvellous & if you want the best shot at giving birth normally in Glasgow (& especially in water) on the NHS, then definitely book here - everyone who is deemed 'low risk' is entitled to this fantastic service.

Also read Debbie's account of her home water birth under the guidance of the 'wonderful' RAH's Community Midwives to whom she transferred her care.
