Birth Choices Support Groups provide research-based information about pregnancy & birth to help you make better-informed choices about your maternity care. We also act as a sounding-board for women who have had problems with previous pregnancies and help them come to terms with their difficult experiences. Our groups take place on a monthly basis & are always free of charge to all women. If you are interested in starting a group in your area, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

The Baby Cafe
The Baby Café Charitable Trust is a small organisation which began its life as a charity in July 2005. We co-ordinate a network of branded drop-in centres which support breastfeeding mothers, because we believe that every breastfeeding mum deserves free, top quality help and support. 

A Baby Café drop-in is a fully funded service, run by paid facilitators and freely accessible to all mothers needing support with breastfeeding.

A Baby Café drop-in centre is generally open once a week and set out with coffee tables, comfy sofas and play areas for accompanying toddlers.  All pregnant or breastfeeding mums are welcome to drop in at any time during opening hours.  No appointment is necessary and partners, supporters and health professionals are also welcome.

Let Your Feet do the Talking
At the moment I am preparing for the birth of my second child in Feb 08 so I will be on maternity leave until April for Reflexology. If you have any questions or queries I am still available on the mobile.

Reflexology
I am an AQA qualified reflexologist with a full Association of Reflexologists membership and also registered on the NHS Directory.

Even though I am generally qualified to work with pregnant women, I have undertaken a number of specialised reflexology courses in pre-conception, pregnancy and labour. I have undertaken a comprehensive course which was run by Denise Tiran's company called 'Expectancy Ltd'. It is aimed at complementary health professionals wanting to have an integrated approach to to the care of pregnant and childbearing women. It enables complementary therapists to have an in-depth understanding of the conventional medical practices for pregnancy and labour and the physiological and anatomical changes that occur. With this understanding I am able to practice complementary therapies in a considered and informed manner.

I have already completed a course called 'Natural Pain Relief During labour' course which was also run by Expectancy.
