Equilibrium - Yoga & Wellbeing Centre
Equilibrium Peterborough is a dedicated yoga and well-being centre offering a vibrant yet peaceful atmosphere to enjoy yoga and holistic treatments.

Prior to opening the building has been completely rebuilt and refurbished to suit the needs of a modern yoga and well-being centre. The centre comprises of two sizeable yoga studios, which can be converted into a single space for larger workshops, and two luxurious therapy rooms. Large windows and high ceilings give the whole centre a wonderful air of space and light, while underfloor heating ensures the ideal temperature for practice and treatments.

Pregnancy yoga is suitable for women who are at least 12-14 weeks pregnant. It is an excellent way to bond with the unborn baby. It not only helps to deal with problems which might occur during pregnancy, such as back and shoulder problems, but it also prepares the expecting mother for labour and birth. Specific postures and breathing techniques will help to develop and improve strength, stamina and peace of mind.

Birth Choices Support Groups provide research-based information about pregnancy & birth to help you make better-informed choices about your maternity care. We also act as a sounding-board for women who have had problems with previous pregnancies and help them come to terms with their difficult experiences. Our groups take place on a monthly basis & are always free of charge to all women. If you are interested in starting a group in your area, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

The Baby Cafe
The Baby Café Charitable Trust is a small organisation which began its life as a charity in July 2005. We co-ordinate a network of branded drop-in centres which support breastfeeding mothers, because we believe that every breastfeeding mum deserves free, top quality help and support. 

A Baby Café drop-in is a fully funded service, run by paid facilitators and freely accessible to all mothers needing support with breastfeeding.

A Baby Café drop-in centre is generally open once a week and set out with coffee tables, comfy sofas and play areas for accompanying toddlers.  All pregnant or breastfeeding mums are welcome to drop in at any time during opening hours.  No appointment is necessary and partners, supporters and health professionals are also welcome.

I am a fully qualified and experienced Registered Midwife, who has had the same training and regulation as my NHS colleagues.

I am registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and I am also a member of the Royal College of Midwives (RCM), Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and The Independent Midwives Association (IMA)

As part of my registration, I have to attend emergency procedure lectures every year to be updated and assessed, as well as having to show evidence of improving and maintaining my practice to its highest level. I am also a Certified Neonatal Life Support Provider

I qualified in Reflexology through the British School of Reflexology in 1997. I then went on to train in the Light Touch technique in 2003. I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and the NHS Directory of Reflexologists.
